ST. JOSEPH PENINSULA STATE PARK

This beautiful state park spans the last 20 miles of Cape San Blas, creating a wildlife haven like no other. While northern parts of the Park are still in recovery from Hurricane Michael, the majority of daytime activities are available.  Nature lovers' paradise!

Eagle Harbor on the bay side is open to visitors, including the boat ramp and bay access for water sports.

The park's beach access is also open to park-goers. For those familiar with how the shoreline used to look, you might want to take a walk around the new inlet created just north of Eagle Harbor, where the ocean now washes through to the bay. Those who are looking for a beautiful and interesting beach walk can also enjoy this new sight, and do some bird watching along the way.

Enjoy the beautiful beaches, shelling, swimming, snorkeling, bay and beach water sports, bird watching, or a picnic by the bay. St. Joseph Peninsula State Park is a must see for anyone visiting the cape!
